Reel Big Fish runs the familiar money-symbol setup. During the base game, fish show values of 1x to 5x stake. When they land with wilds, they pay their cash prize for each wild on the reels at the same time. If two wilds appear, each fish pays twice. I found the mechanic tidy, feeding extra hits into an already brisk hit rate, though single-fish screens can still feel light unless several wilds land together.
Free spins trigger with 3, 4, or 5 scatters for 8, 12, or 20 spins. In the feature, metres appear above every reel with levels from 0 to 3. Triggering scatters raise the metre on the reel they hit by +1. When fish land, they pay based on that reel's level: silver fish 1x–50x, greenish 2x–100x, reddy 4x–200x. Any scatter during the round adds +1 to its reel, plus one extra spin. A golden scatter maxes that reel and grants a spin.
