100 buys on Gladiatoro: the results
Gladiatoro is a Roman arena video slot from ELK Studios, running 5 reels with 4 rows at the start and expanding to 6 rows through Level Up Coins. I get 178 ways at base size and 340 ways once the grid opens. Main hook: Toro walks, Matador sticks, Diaz collects, and the whole thing wants coins on screen fast!
Across the buy session, the game feels built for people who measure cost of the buy versus the return. X-iter gives structured entry points rather than one blunt purchase, which is exactly why I watch it buy after buy it landed like a volatile coin-grinder. Visuals are sharp, but the armoury backdrop repeats hard after long batches.

By the numbers: Gladiatoro
Numbers put Gladiatoro in the risky lane. RTP is 94%, hit frequency is 24.1%, volatility reads high, and the cap sits at 10,000x. I care about net result after a hundred pulls, so that 94% matters. The average came out around the theoretical grind only when the top hit dropped late and saved the batch!
Cost of the buy versus the return is the whole argument here. Bonus Hunt is cheap at 3x, Matador Respin costs 10x, Diaz costs 25x, the direct Bonus Game is 100x, and Super Bonus Game is 500x. Min buy paid, max buy flopped is a very real pattern, because the distribution skewed low unless persistent symbols connected early.
Reading the paytable
Symbols split cleanly between Roman numerals, premium objects and feature pieces. V, X, C and M pay up to 0.4x, 0.5x, 0.6x and 0.8x for five. Vase with Grapes, Stabbed Watermelon, Gladiator Helmet and Red Rose climb to 0.9x, 1.2x, 2.5x and 5x. Sword Wild substitutes for pay symbols, but not coins or named feature characters.
Feature symbols do the heavy lifting. Toro is the walking wild, Diaz collects coin values, Matador locks for respins, and Level Up Coin expands the grid. In the bonus, Persistent Matador and Persistent Diaz can smash the whole batch if they appear early. One buy carried the whole batch when those sticky upgrades started stacking.

The bonus engine
Buying is where I park the session. X-iter has five modes, and I like that spread because it lets me test volatility in layers rather than smashing only 100x and 500x entries. Bonus Hunt hunts triggers, Matador Respin primes sticky Matadors, Diaz primes collectors, Bonus Game starts the main feature, and Super Bonus Game adds a persistent symbol from spin one.
Gladiator Bonus triggers from 3 or more Bonus Coins and starts with 3 respins on a stripped grid of coins, blanks and special symbols. New symbols reset the counter. Coins stay, collectors add totals, Matadors upgrade values, and Toro keeps moving left with extra respins. The dead-spin ratio was brutal when blanks landed in clumps after a weak opening.
Worst buy, best buy is extreme here. A dry Bonus Game can end with barely a few coin values, while a Super Bonus with early Persistent Diaz or Persistent Matador can flip the session. Over 100 clean buys, I would not chase the 500x mode without a fixed stop, because dead starts hurt fast.
