First look at Fish 'n' Nudge
Fish 'n' Nudge is a fishing-themed video slot from Push Gaming, built on a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines. Nets nudge down the reels and collect instant Fish prizes, while the Fisherman is both Wild and collector. I found a proper throwback volatility here, medium rather than savage, and you can feel the old-school reel design beneath the modern presentation. Back in the day, Push Gaming titles had a clear mechanical identity; this one carries that streak.

Reading the fishing paytable
Shells in four colours form the low-paying group, while purple and green Fishing Lures sit above them. Fishing Rods, Lure Boxes and four fish types occupy the upper end, with five matching premium symbols paying between 20x and 40x. Fish wins need three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, although the different fish can combine for a win. The Fisherman Wild substitutes for regular symbols except Nets and Scatters.
Fish Symbols carry instant prize values from 0.5x through 1,000x, which is where the slot separates itself from ordinary line games. A Net can catch them directly, or the Fisherman collects every visible fish when he lands inside a Net. That mechanic reminds me of a similar slot from the same provider, yet the nudge timing gives Fish 'n' Nudge its own rhythm. Grizzled players will clock it instantly.

The bonus mechanics
Three or more boat Scatters trigger Free Spins, with the starting total multiplier set at 1x, 10x or 25x for three, four or five Scatters. Reels 2 and 4 begin filled with Nets. Each new spin nudges those Nets down one position and raises the multiplier by 1x, with the multiplier applied to Fish instant prizes. A fresh free spin arrives while Nets remain on the reels.
Net Symbols can land in the base game or bonus round as four-symbol stacks, then stay in place until they move below the reels. Push Bet costs an extra 20% of the stake and improves the chance of reaching Free Spins. Bonus Buy options cost 42x, 87x, 163x or 100x the stake. I dislike the extra charge attached to Push Bet, though the feature is at least mechanically clear. It was a different game years back, and we played tighter margins then.
Bonus features
RTP and volatility behaviour
The default RTP is 96.40%, with operator settings also available at 95.49%, 94.38%, 90.42% and 88.48%. That spread matters. I would check the active configuration before settling into a session, because the lower settings take a noticeable slice from long-term returns. Medium volatility keeps the regular game more measured than Razor Returns, while the 10,000x maximum win leaves room for serious spikes.
