Wild Swarm (Push Gaming) – Review & Demo Play
Wild Swarm from Push Gaming play free demo version ▶ Casino Slot Review Wild Swarm ✔ Return (RTP) of online slots on August 2026 and play for real money✔
Wild Swarm Slot Overview
Wild Swarm is one of those Push Gaming slots I keep coming back to. You get a 5x4 grid with 20 fixed paylines and bets from 20p up to £100 a spin. On the surface it looks like a light bee themed slot, yet behind that sits medium to high volatility, collectable bees, two styles of free spins and a Pick bonus that can flip a dull session in seconds. The core is the slow build towards Swarm Mode, with each bee flying into the hive and leaving a wild behind.

Theme and Graphics in Wild Swarm
The forest setting in Wild Swarm works far better than screenshots suggest. The reels sit in front of sunlit trees with leaves drifting down, while wooden frames and carved card ranks keep the look consistent. Cartoon bees whizz around when they land and the Swarm Mode animation livens things up nicely. On my phone the interface scales cleanly and the visuals stay sharp, so I am happy grinding on mobile when I am feeding the hive and waiting for the sticky mayhem.
How to Play Wild Swarm
Opening Wild Swarm reveals the familiar Push Gaming layout, with the spin on the right and bet controls on the left. I pick a stake then use space bar spins on desktop, or just tap the main button on mobile. Wins pay from left to right on the 20 lines and you need three of a kind or more, apart from the golden dollar which pays from two. Bee symbols that land will fly into the hive and leave a Honey Wild.
Autoplay lets you set up to 100 spins, though I prefer batches of 50 so I can judge the mood. The 97.03 percent RTP looks friendly, but lower versions exist, so I always check the game info panel first. Balance can swing about because the Swarm meter and features gate a lot of value. I tend to nurse stakes while building the hive, then edge the bet up a notch if the meter is high when I sit down.
Symbols and Paytable in Wild Swarm
The paytable in Wild Swarm is easy once you have spun a bit. Low symbols are wooden J, Q, K and A, paying around 2x to 3x your stake for five of a kind. Premiums are two flowers, a honey pot, the queen bee and the golden dollar sign dripping with honey. That last one tops the line wins with 30x for five, while the queen pays 15x, the jar 10x, and the flowers 7x.
Regular Honey Wilds stand in for any paying symbol apart from scatters and chests, and they have no line pay, which suits this game because the money comes from stacking wilds in features. In bonuses you also see Sticky Wilds, pictured as a bee in the honey frame, and these lock until the round ends. The bright beehive scatter lands anywhere and brings 7, 10 or 14 free spins for 3, 4 or 5, while chests trigger the Pick feature.

Bonus Features and Swarm Mode in Wild Swarm
The Pick feature in Wild Swarm is one of my favourite side games. When a chest hits, the view switches to five honeycomb tiles. You see prizes briefly, they flip and shuffle, then you pick one. In the base game that can be a cash award up to 200x, standard free spins, Swarm Mode, or a hive level up that pushes the Swarm meter forward. During bonus rounds the options lean towards extra spins and wild upgrades.
Free spins from scatters play a lot like Swarm Mode, just without wilds seeded at the start. Sticky wilds that land stay for the full round, and chests can still appear. They may add more free spins or trigger enhancements such as shifting sticky wilds that drift left across spins, or expanding sticky wilds that grow to cover a whole reel. The round can turn in a heartbeat if the grid starts to fill and a chest drops the right upgrade.
When the hive finally explodes into Swarm Mode, you get 10 sticky wild spins with several wilds already on the grid. It can trigger from the Pick feature or when the hive detonates after levelling the meter. Bees in the base feed the hive and leave Honey Wilds behind, so you always feel progress even during quieter patches. This is the moment the slot shows its teeth, as stacked sticky positions can line up premiums into proper hits.
RTP, Variance and Payout Potential in Wild Swarm
On pure stats, Wild Swarm sits well for me. The default RTP is 97.03 percent, though some operators run lower models, so I check the help pages before I spin. Volatility is medium to high; you can grind smaller wins while collecting bees, yet the sticky wild rounds carry real hit potential. The max win sits around 3,100x on paper with observed results near 3,069x. I treat it as a medium length grinder with bursts when Swarm Mode lands.
