Wild Symbol & Progressive Win Multiplier in Ragnarok
After every win, the game drops a wild into one of the spaces created by the Avalanche before other symbols fall. That wild plugs gaps in the next cascade and often keeps clusters alive. It subs for all symbols except the scatter, so you can chain two or three clears from a modest start. I found those injected wilds matter most on mid-round drops, where a single connector can turn scattered tiles into a tight block.
Each Avalanche win step doubles the win multiplier, moving x1 to x2, x4, x8, and higher, then snapping back between paid spins. That makes the base game about building chains, not single hits. Big clusters are nice, but it's the compounding that moves the needle. Land a chunky cluster at x32 or x64 and the numbers start to look meaty. Most rounds fizzle at x2 or x4, but the good ones climb fast when the grid stays connected.
Given the high volatility, stretches of light returns happen. The engine feels right when the ladder shows up early, the wild appears in a good gap, and the board refills with premiums. Those are the windows where I push for longer sessions, because the maths wants sequences. If the first two clears miss, I reset rather than chase, then wait for boards that start with connecting shapes near the middle.
Loki's Trick & Giant Symbols in Ragnarok
Loki's Trick can fire at the start of a game round and bump the multiplier up by a random number of steps before anything lands. It's a neat jump-start. Giant Symbols also show up either at the start of a new round or when a round ends without a win. They can be 2x2 or 3x3, counting as 4 or 9 tiles, which helps clusters reach the higher pay tiers and makes the wild injections more impactful.

Land 3, 4, or 5 scatters in the base and you get 8, 10, or 12 free spins. The big twist is the multiplier doesn't reset for the whole feature.
