How Crystal Quest Frostlands Works
Wins trigger an Avalanche. The winning symbols drop out and new ones fall, which can chain hits from a single spin. Each Avalanche bumps the win multiplier up by one, starting at 1x. In the base game it resets when the chain ends. In free spins it sticks between spins, which is where the slot really opens up. With 6x4 and 4096 ways, it feels brisk and can set up tidy runs when the tumbles go your way.
Wilds land on all reels except the first and sub in for everything bar the scatter chest. If a spin ends with no win while a Wild is on the reels, a Wild explosion fires. It removes matching symbols in horizontal and vertical lines from that Wild's position. If it touches a Massive symbol, the whole block goes. That nudge often clears space for fresh tumbles and keeps the sequence alive.
Symbols of Crystal Quest Frostlands
The high pay is the Feral Commander with a red crystal blade, followed by the big green Yeti. Six of a kind from that pair pays around 2.5x to 5x. Below them sit crystals and minerals in blue, green and orange, then coloured gems in blue, turquoise, green, yellow, orange and pink. Six of those mid to low icons land around 0.50x to 1.40x. Wilds are a crystal W. The scatter is a treasure chest that triggers the feature.
Those values fit the design choice here. Symbol pays lean a bit lower to make room for large swings from Massive symbols, multipliers and tumbles. It balances the hit flow on a high volatility frame. I rate the icon clarity. I can spot the chest and the crystal W at a glance, which helps when the screen fills with shards during a long chain.

Features of Crystal Quest Frostlands
Free spins land from three or more scatter chests. Three chests award 12 spins, with three more for each extra chest on the trigger. Inside the feature, two scatters add three spins, then each extra scatter adds two more. The win multiplier does not reset between spins here, which is the key driver for bigger totals. When the Avalanches keep feeding, that ladder can step up fast.
Massive symbols can appear in both base and bonus. They drop in 2x2 or 3x3 sizes and crush everything beneath until they rest at the bottom. Wild and scatter never become Massive, so the blocks are always from the pay set. When a Wild explosion hits a block, the entire chunk blows, which is great for clearing paths and lining up fresh ways.
The blend works. Avalanches build the ladder, Massive symbols create space, and the sticky multiplier during free spins ties it all together.
