Coba (ELK Studios) – Review & Demo Play

Coba Slot Overview
Coba is a 7x7 cluster pays slot where wins of 5+ symbols trigger Avalanches and a Gravity mechanic. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin, with an RTP of 95.0%, medium volatility rated 6/10, and a hit frequency of 38.9%. The max win reaches 25,000x the bet. I like how the maths keeps things lively yet steady between bursts, while the snake-driven features can take a round from small clusters to something wild in a single sequence.

Coba Slot Information
We head to a Mayan site guarded by Quetzalcoatl, with a temple backdrop and jungle audio setting the pace. The reels sit in a gold frame, with plants creeping up the stone and a steady drumbeat. It runs well on mobiles, desktops, and tablets. I felt the presentation adds to the session without getting in the way, which matters on a grid slot where the action builds through chains of Avalanches and meter progress between drops.
Clusters of five or more form wins that pop off the grid, then the Gravity system takes over. Symbols fall straight down, slide to the left, then to the right, repeating until everything settles. Fresh tiles drop from the top to fill gaps, so a single wager can deliver multiple evaluations. All points from clusters feed the snake meter during the same spin cycle. That structure is the spine of Coba, and it sets up the key features.
Coba Slot Features
Coba packs four core pieces: Wild Symbol, Avalanche, Snake Progress Meter, and X-iter. Wilds help complete clusters when they appear, while Avalanches clear wins and keep the meter ticking. I rate the interplay as the main draw. Fill levels on the meter and snakes arrive in sequence, turning paths of symbols into one chosen type before the next evaluation. The game can open up fast when successive drops land, which is when the multipliers start to matter.
The meter has four levels. Hit level 1, 2, 3, or 4 and you get 1, 2, 3, or 6 snakes. A snake is a linear cluster, at least five symbols long. The first symbol it touches becomes the snake symbol. Eat matching tiles to grow and switch back to survival. Yellow tail signals survival, blue tail marks non survival. When snakes cross, you get a 2x multiplier wild there, which doubles on each further crossing. Cross your own body and the snake disappears before the next drop.
The X-iter menu lets you jump straight into setups. 2x bet tweaks early levels to release three snakes at levels 1 and 2. 10x starts at level 1 with one snake. 25x also starts at level 1 but gives a longer snake. 100x starts at level 1, with three snakes for the first two levels. 500x opens at level 4 with six snakes. I use these when I want a burst of action rather than waiting for the meter.
Coba Symbols and Paytable
The lower paying set uses carved stones in green, blue, and red. As a cluster slot, you need five or more connected symbols, but the big steps sit at 15+. Land 15 or more of the same low symbol for returns in the 4x to 10x range. Values scale down across 14 to 5, so small clusters help the meter while the grid reshuffles. I like how these tiles keep cycles going while you chase snakes and multipliers.
Higher paying symbols are gemstones in green, blue, and red, plus a decorated gold coin. Hit 15+ of a kind to see 15x up to 500x. The wild symbol looks like a diamond ring in a gold setting, stepping in for pays. Wilds can be multiplier wilds when snakes cross, starting at 2x and doubling on repeat crossings. Multiple multiplier wilds in a cluster multiply each other before the win is counted, which is where big totals can land.
