9 Lions Slot Features
You win by landing 3+ symbols adjacent anywhere on the 3x3 grid, and you can choose your own volatility (low, standard or high) while setting the game pace from 3 available options. Symbols with the best possibility of landing a winner become locked/sticky automatically for 1 spin, and you can unlock and lock other symbols as you see fit. A 50/50 double or nothing gamble is available after wins, up to 7 times, and it’s entirely optional.
Land the top-tier Lion symbol and it lights up the corresponding spot in the Lions Bonus Matrix Table. When all 9 positions are filled, the next time 3+ lions land you trigger the Lions Bonus with sticky lions and 9 bonus spins. You need 4+ lions to land a prize, while a full screen returns 500x stake. Hit 3 Dragons on the middle row of reels 1, 2 and 3 to start a pick ’em Dragons Bonus where 1 of 3 eggs pays 1, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 400 or 1,000x.
The 200 Spins 9 Lions Slot Experience
I’ve had sessions where the Lions Bonus Matrix Table was filled to the brim, yet it still took a while to trigger the feature. That meant a decent stretch of base game play before it finally fired. When it does, sticky lions carry the round and it plays out for the remainder much like the highlights clip describes. The flow felt familiar: patient base spins, a nudge from the Matrix, then a tidy run where the bonus does the heavy lifting.
Game Info for 9 Lions
RTP comes in at 96.59%, the advertised max win is 1,000x bet, and full-screen premium hits top out at 500x. There are no paylines here; instead, 3+ adjacent symbols anywhere on the 3x3 layout award. The presentation leans on pleasing animated visuals and a soothing soundtrack set around a Chinese-style temple. The core loop is simple and tidy, with short, readable spins and clear feedback when lions or dragons line up for features.
Wazdan’s Volatility Levels (Low, Standard, High) let me tailor the hit profile, while three speed settings, Ultra Fast Mode and Ultra Lite Mode keep things snappy and light on resources. The Unique Gamble feature offers a straight 50/50 step up to seven times, and Energy Saving Mode suits mobile play. Combined with Block Symbols Mode (manual holding for a single spin), the pace and handling feel flexible without cluttering the screen.
Symbols & Paytable in 9 Lions
The symbol set blends orient-style classic card signs with four mythological creatures from Chinese constellations (Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, Black Turtle), a Dragon, and the golden lion statue. The lion is top tier and also fuels the Lions Bonus Matrix Table. A full screen of matching premiums yields 500x stake, while 3 Dragons on the middle row trigger a pick ’em where eggs reveal fixed prizes of 1, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 400 or 1,000x.

Review Summary for 9 Lions
As far as oriental slots go, the audiovisual presentation is very good, and the Lion Matrix fills up on a regular basis, which keeps me motivated during the base game grind. The potential from the Matrix tops out at 500x, and while that’s fine for neat board clears, the harder-to-trigger Dragons Bonus is the route to the rather modest 1,000x cap. The overall rhythm is relaxed and tidy, and the production is easy on the eye.
The pace of the game is excellent across the 3 speed options, and being able to stop/hold symbols for 1 spin adds a dimension of strategy that sits well on a 3x3. The best locking choices are applied automatically, so I didn’t need to overthink. The double or nothing gamble is clean and quick, and it fits the short-form nature of the rounds without dragging the tempo down.
Highlights for me are the sticky Lions Bonus round and a simple pick ’em Dragons Bonus that can push into the 1,000x range. On the flip side, the 1,000x max win is not all that impressive in the current market, and I’d class this as a pleasant earner rather than a spike-chaser. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, but not my go-to for high risk/reward action when I’m hunting heavier ceilings.
