How to Play 5 Monsters Slot
I play 5 Monsters on a 5x5 grid that pays anywhere once 7 or more identical symbols land in view. I set my total stake via the on-screen selector, then hit Spin or the spacebar on desktop. Holding the button engages Turbo. Autoplay is there with stop conditions, while the Menu gives quick access to Pays and Help. On mobile it’s just as tidy, with the same layout and options tucked behind the central controls.
Before staking cash, I like giving the demo a few spins to get a feel for the pace. The base setup is a 5x5, and during the Collector Bonus the grid can extend to six rows, though the pays-anywhere requirement stays the same. Session management is straightforward, so I stick to a budget and use quick-stop when I want to speed through dead spins. Everything you need sits in the UI, no faffing about.
Symbols and Payouts in 5 Monsters
I keep an eye on the paytable, which updates with my stake. Wins land when 7+ of the same symbol appear anywhere. The low-paying set is three bubble shapes, triangular, square and circular. The high-paying set is five planet-like orbs in gold, purple, blue, brown and green. There’s no wild, so it’s all about volume on the grid and timing modifiers during features rather than line-building or substituting behaviour. Seven-of-a-kind pays are modest on lows, while 15-of-a-kind with majors is where the headline numbers sit.
From my sessions, the shape symbols scale from 7 to 15 of a kind, roughly 1x up to 50x the bet. The five majors climb harder, with 7-of-a-kind around 1.5x to 4x, and 15 on screen worth 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x or 300x depending on the colour. It’s a clean pay-anywhere model that rewards large clusters across the board, and it ties neatly into the meter up top during base play and features alike.

5 Monsters Bonus Features
I like the MaxSymbols system sitting above the grid. When I hit wins on a major, its icon lights up and contributes to the progress bar. On the next spin, any lit major that lands gets collected, win or not. Sometimes a Random Symbols event drops extra copies of the active icon, nudging the meter along. There are six game levels that move you from the first monster through to all five, with progress kept per stake size.
When the bar completes, the Collector Bonus begins with 3 spins, and any new symbol resets the counter to 3. Two symbol types land. Multipliers show x2 to x5 values. Activators call in a monster’s trick. The Framer adds frames that multiply multipliers landing in them. The Payer takes one value and spreads it to all. The Booster upgrades a chosen tile. The Collector pulls values into its spot. The Mentalist multiplies the lowest and highest together.
If I don’t fancy grinding through levels, the Buy feature skips straight into the Bonus. Options span 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 monsters for 75x, 100x, 150x, 200x or 300x, plus a random setup at 150x where anything can happen. RTP models vary by level and buy, so I always check the info screen for the current setting. With monster synergies singing, the feature can climb fast, capped by a tidy 55,555x max win.
RTP & Volatility in 5 Monsters
5 Monsters runs at high volatility, and the RTP sits on the healthier side of average, with several models that depend on level and whether you buy in. The game info lists the exact figure for your current setup. Payout bursts lean on the Collector Bonus, while base play builds energy through MaxSymbols, so I pace my bankroll and aim for measured sessions. The ceiling of 55,555x is there for the taking when the monsters align.
