First look at Stormcraft Studios

Stormcraft Studios launched in 2016 out of South Africa, founded by Terence Igesund, a name attached to Immortal Romance and Terminator 2. The studio creates slots exclusively for Microgaming, now Games Global after the Quickfire acquisition. Its team of industry veterans built much of Microgaming's classic portfolio before the brand had its own badge.

In my view the studio's strength is legacy handled with care. Rather than flooding the market, it produces three or four titles a year. The name Stormcraft rarely tops a headline, yet recognition from across the industry follows the people behind it.

The technical DNA of the studio

Stormcraft leans on a recognisable set of proprietary tools. "WildStorm" turns the full layout Wild during bonus rounds, usually unlocked by collecting symbols first.
